This Week Baby is built to be used without giving up any personal information. We do not run accounts, we do not ask for your email, and we do not set tracking cookies. This policy describes exactly what happens to data when you use the site, and only describes things we actually do.

Who we are

This Week Baby is an independent parenting-content site operated by Urban Algorithm LLC. We are the publisher and the data controller for this site. You can reach us through the Urban Algorithm contact page.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, no sign-up, no login anywhere on the site.
• No email address is ever requested or collected.
• No tracking cookies and no cross-site advertising pixels.
• The birth or due date you enter into the weekly timeline tool is never sent to a server. It is used only in your browser, for the seconds it takes to compute your baby's week, and is not stored by us anywhere, on our servers or in your browser's storage.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted instance of Umami, a cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics tool, to see aggregate traffic patterns like which pages get read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile of you. It cannot identify you personally.

Affiliate links

We currently run no affiliate partnerships on this site. If that changes, any affiliate or sponsored link will be clearly disclosed at the point you encounter it, and this policy will be updated to describe the program.

Children's privacy

This site is written for parents and caregivers, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
