What is your baby up to this week?

Every week from birth to 24 months, described the way it should feel: what's developing, a few things worth trying together, and what a lot of parents notice. No red-flag checklists, no "should be doing X by now." Just the fun part, sourced and dated, plus one honest note about where the screening conversation actually belongs.

Why not just use a milestone checklist?

A checklist is built to screen for delay, a completely different job from helping a tired, curious parent enjoy the week they're in. This site is for the second job. When the first job is genuinely what you need, we say so plainly and point you to the CDC's free "Learn the Signs. Act Early." checklist and your pediatrician, the right owners of that question, every time.
